Our client, a London Market insurance broker, needed to create a solution for Brexit. They had branches in Europe but were not experienced in cross border restructuring.
ICSR’s Solution
ICSR was engaged to assist management to determine the best approach to choosing the jurisdiction in which to base its operations in Europe and how to structure the arrangements. ICSR provided high level mentoring and advice including identifying the benefits and detriments of various jurisdictions and the issues and steps which would need to be taken. We then supported the management through the decision-making process of determining which branch should become a legal entity and how to plan the process for implementation of their new structure.

ICSR deployed a director with experience in cross-border transactions and regulatory and licensing.
Client Outcome
The client was able to complete its corporate restructuring on time and as planned ready in time for a hard Brexit.
