The Client’s Needs

The client was a very large multinational in the process of a merger with a London Market insurer. The firms required assistance with the merger in order to implement the acquirer’s control framework in the integrated organisation.

ICSR were asked to provide specialists in risk and controls to assist.

ICSR’s Solution

ICSR put together a team to work closely with the CRO in planning and implementing the new control environment, documenting and then testing hundreds of controls across the business units and functions within the acquired and merged organisations over an 18 month period.

Resources Deployed

ICSR deployed a team of resources including experienced risk, control and compliance professionals to help the insurer.

Client Outcome

The work is ongoing and on schedule and budget.
