The Client’s Needs

The client is an operating unit in one of the largest gloabal providers of reinsurance, primary insurance, and insurance-related risk solutions in the world, covering risks of every type and complexity. It needed a solution to fill a temporary resourcing gap in its compliance team arising due to maternity leave. The client wanted to ensure flexibility in the exact length of the contract to allow their employee all the necessary freedom to choose their return to work date.

ICSR was able to provide a resource from within the team to provide the necessary expertise and support the client required ensuring a flexible solution that recognised the uncertainty in the exact length of time for which support would be required.

Resources Deployed

ICSR deployed a Senior Consultant to work as part of the client’s compliance department, fully covering the role temporarily vacated due to the maternity leave. The Senior Consultant is working as a member of the client’s team for the period of maternity leave.

Client Outcome

The client has effectively filled the gap arising from maternity leave in their compliance function, with the flexibility to extend the arrangement as may be required. This has enabled them to seamlessly continue to provide the necessary support to their business operations.
