The client was a very large multinational in the process of a merger with a London Market insurer. The firms required assistance with the merger in order to implement the acquirer’s control framework in the integrated organisation.
ICSR were asked to provide specialists in risk and controls to assist.
ICSR put together team of resources including experienced risk, control and compliance professionals to help the insurer. They worked closely with the CRO in planning and implementing the new control environment, documenting and then testing hundreds of controls across the business units and functions within the acquired and merged organisations.
ICSR deployed a director with experience in risk and compliance and several members of its Talent Pool involving individuals with governance, compliance, risk, run-off and project management skills.
ICSR delivered the document on time and on budget with a capped fee including the presentation to work through the Board Committee approval process.
